Superintendent Laura Mitchell to Headline Parent Town Hall Meeting on Education

Are you looking for some advice and resources to help your child succeed in school?

Join Superintendent Laura Mitchell and other education experts at a Town Hall meeting, 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 25 at Corinthian Baptist Church, 1930 Tennessee Avenue.

Two other panelists will join Superintendent Mitchell, Vanessa White of Preschool Promise and Treigg Turner, NAACP Education Chair. Lincoln Ware of Radio One will be the master of ceremonies. A Q&A session will follow the panel discussion.

From 5:30 - 8:30 p.m., a Resource Fair will offer parents an opportunity to gather information and learn about the services available at 20 organizations, including Cincinnati Youth Collaborative and Reaching Out for Kids.

The event and a buffet dinner are free but attendees must register. The Town Hall Meeting is sponsored by the National Newspapers Publisher Association.
