We are proud to announce that David Pollack’s Empower Foundation kicked off at Oyler on Tuesday, April 11, 2006.  The impressively SCPA-designed Bengal-striped locker will contain basic personal hygiene and clothing items for individuals and/or families in need.

Cincinnati Bengal and 2005 first-round draft pick David Pollack wanted to give back for the various blessings he’s received.  He believed that lending his name and support for a cause such as this was a perfect way to do just that.

The locker will stay in our school and serve as a storage for items of which families who are experiencing homelessness might find themselves in need.  We are proud to be partnering with Project Connect in order to distribute these items.

Without the help of David Pollack and all those in his foundation, all of this would only be a dream.

We’re very happy it’s reality!
